There’s something sacred about making your own tools for energy work. Yes, you can buy smudge sprays anywhere these days — from boutiques to big-box stores. They’re convenient, shelf-stable, and usually filled with preservatives to help them last for months. But what they often don’t have is your energy, your intention, and your unique connection to Spirit.
When you create your own smudge spray, every step becomes part of the ritual — choosing the herbs, blessing the water, adding crystals or essential oils that speak to your energy. It’s not just a product; it’s a vibrational signature. Your frequency becomes part of the clearing.
When I make mine, I start with charged water — usually distilled moon water that I have made the month previous — and I’ll steep herbs like fresh rosemary, sage and lavender flowers. Then I
bless the bottle and set an intention for purification, peace, or renewal.
It’s a simple practice, but it transforms the ordinary into something sacred.
You don’t need preservatives when you make it fresh and use it with intention. What you do need is presence — and that’s where the magic truly begins. Click here to get my recipe! Free to download
